Michael’s ability to catch trophy fish was recognized at a very early age. With many trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass caught and released by clients, Michael’s name began to circulate the fishing community as both a expert guide and consistent producer of quality fish. He has spent 1000’s of hours fishing and honing his skills on the water!

In 2020 with the onset of a tourism slowdown for a 2-year period, Michael took advantage of his time and thoroughly fished, mapped, and developed his deep knowledge of the waters of Pakwash Lake, Ontario. During this time he introduced the advancement in technology and added Forward Facing Sonar (FFS) to his guide boat. This has been a real game changer in respect to both quantity and quality of fish. Michael also is a fierce competitor on the fishing tournament tour and has won several of them.

In the past 5 years, Michael has added Lac Seul to his fishing area as well. This gives him the ability to navigate many water bodies which will increase the odds of catching both trophy fish as well as numbers.
